Summer isn’t the only time for family portraits! I met with the Turitz family for their late fall/early winter portraits while they were all together for the holiday season.

I don’t know why, this session wasn’t even on a Saturday, but when I look at the images I just start singing that “Saturdays in the park, I think it was the 4th of July” song no comments Ever wondered what one of my signing albums look like? I love offering these to my clients because they make such great keepsakes. We start with the 20 page blank book – it has spaces for 10 images and 10 signing pages. Clients typically order these for their weddings but they’re a great addition to your baby shower too. Before your shower you receive the album with all blank pages for your guests to sign (we mark the pages where images will go so guests don’t sign in those spaces). Once you have your maternity and newborn sessions done we select a total of 10 images to be put into the book for a final product that you and your child will cherish. no comments When you receive news that your BFF is expecting you get super excited. When they tell you, 5 minutes before your next session, they’re expecting twins you’re speachless and looking for a chair to sit in. Then they drop the bomb on you that they want to keep it a secret for a month. A MONTH! I had to contain my excitement from everyone for an entire month! I’m absolutely no good at keeping secrets but I did it. Whew. Of course they asked me to come to Connecticut to photograph their pregnancy announcement that very next weekend. So even more secret keeping! I packed up my gear and baby and headed to my parents house. It seems like when you’re trying to keep a secret about someone is when everyone asks about them too. So with a smirk on my face all I could say was “they’re good”.

I loved working a cute little maternity idea into this session as well & a cake smash. Both boys had birthdays recently so we celebrated with a big blue cake in the park. no comments |
